Start a group just for your friends: you pay your full share, then share the link. Everyone pays in full when they join. It has 1 hour to fill. If it doesn't, everyone gets their money back in their wallet.
Every purchase gives you a pass with a QR code and a short code, in My groups. Show it to the seller. A pass works on its date, or until its use-by date for listings you can use any time.
When money comes back to you (a group that couldn't complete, a cancelled date or listing), it goes to your Gadabuy wallet straight away. Your wallet pays for a purchase when it covers the whole amount.
Sellers add a listing with its options, prices and ways to buy (Buy now, groups, private groups). Gadabuy checks every seller and every new listing before it goes live. Sellers check passes from the Selling page. Buyers can start selling from Account → Start selling on Gadabuy.
No. Most groups are strangers who want the same thing. You can also start a private group and share the link with friends.
You don't pay the rest, and the group ends. Your joining fee (₦200) goes back to your wallet.
2 hours. The clock stops from 10pm to 7am, so nobody has to pay in the middle of the night. My groups shows exactly when.
They lose their spot and their joining fee. Their spot opens for someone else, who pays the whole share at once. If nobody takes it in time, the group ends and everyone gets everything they paid back in their wallet.
With your card (through Paystack), or with your Gadabuy wallet if it covers the whole amount. Prices are the seller's own. The Gadabuy service fee is added when you pay, and the bill shows it before you pay.
It's how Gadabuy is paid. Buy now: 4% of the price (at least ₦200). Groups: 6% (at least ₦200). Sellers pay nothing; they get exactly their price. Free passes have no fee.
Yes. On Account → Wallet, add your bank account (it must be in your own name) and tap Send to my bank. It's free. Your first withdrawal waits a day, to keep your money safe. A wallet that reaches ₦100,000, or isn't used for 30 days, is sent to your bank by itself.
Yes, open the pass and tap Send to a friend. They get a new code, and your old one stops working. Free passes can't be sent.
Don't. Report it from the chat. Money paid outside Gadabuy isn't protected.
They decide who can take Men only and Women only spots, and that you're 18 or over. If yours is wrong, tap Ask Gadabuy to fix this on Account → Personal details.
